Sporting Center Grajnár

Forest Grajnár sports complex is located 18 kilometers from the City of Spišská Nová Ves towards Rožňava. In addition to a pleasant forest atmosphere close to Slovenský Paradise National Park - the second most visited destination in Slovakia. Thanks to good transport availability as well as to it´s topography and it´s altitude of 1100 meters above sea level that guarantees stability of snow conditions, the complex is a popular place mostly among cross-country skiing people in the winter. Lovers of active sport and visitors of Spiš would find what they are looking for.

There are six marked routes in lengths of 3, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 13 kilometres with an elevation of 80-360 meters that have a starting and finishing point in Saddle Grajnár. All circuits are one-way, direction of movement is marked for all to see. Parking and access to the tracks are free. The tracks are adjusted in winter by machinery. In case of sufficient snow they are used by cross-country skiiers, for the rest of the year hikers and cyclists are welcomed here.
