Museum of traditional folk culture Rejdová

The etnographic exhibition in Rejdová is located in one of the oldest and officially protected monumental buildings that stands in the center of the village. At first glance, its blue colour catches your attention. It is a typical little wooden house from the 19th century with a shingle roof. In the house, you will find an ethnographic exhibition. One of the rooms is furnished as a living room, with a traditional masonry stove, original furniture, items for daily use and mannequins dressed in authentic old local folk costumes. In the other room, that has a separate entrance, is a workshop. There, we can find original instruments, such as a spinning wheel for yarn, yarn looms for weaving fabrics, a contemporary crafts table, but also a hemp comb, spindles and other objects that were used in the past for processing hemp.
