Museum of cinematography of the Schuster family (STM exhibition)
Museum focuses mainly on the technical aspect of cinematography, but also presents a rich spectrum of other aspects. The collected items provided by the former president of Slovakia, Rudolf Schuster, create the base for this exhibition. Rudolf Schuster personally collected, received or bought these items. Among these are items given to Rudolf Schuster as a gift from various foreign presidents including Johannes Rau, Vaclav Havel, Alexander Kwasnewsky, Leonid Kucma, Thomas Klestila, Swedish king Carl XVI. Gustav, Prince of Monaco Albert and others. The whole exposition is divided into a couple of parts : film cameras (118 collective items) film projectors (108 collective items), picture equipment (125 collective items) and other collective items.
The Schuster Family Cinematography Museum is closed until the end of 2024. The museum will be accessible to the public from January 2, 2025, during the winter months in a slightly restricted mode.
