The main and minor roles are played by Alexander Bárta, Jevgenij Libezňuk, Peter Nádasdi, Igor Krempaský, Agi Gubíková, Jaroslav Mottl, Rastislav Rogel, Aladár Slepčík, and others. The film also takes place at the Dominican Square in Košice in the time sequence of 12th minute.

The Slovak thriller Babie leto (Indian Summer) is the story of Miro (Alexander Bárta), better known in his former circles as Biely. After ten years, he returns from Leopoldov to the city where he used to live and where he used to be important in the past. His release from prison is being passed around amongst the Košice mafia, but no one knows for sure yet if times are about to get worse. Ten years in prison have deprived him of his honour, part of his own life, but also his family. He returns to Košice, seemingly for a fresh start. However, he is determined to take revenge on specific persons for all he has lost. He gradually visits his old friends and burns several bridges he knows he will never walk on again.

The first distinctly Košice film that acknowledges the city, specific places, and identifies itself as Košice comes from the director and Košice native Gejza Dezorz. The main role, the character of Biely, is played by the equally native of Košice, theatre, film, and TV actor Alexander Bárta. The film from the mafia and crime setting does not omit the realities of Košice, its recognisable elements, symbols, and well-known places. In many scenes, it is clear to the inhabitants of Košice what filming locations are involved, and the film does not lag even in the usage of the local dialect. Numerous establishments, shop windows, railings up to the marketplace on the Dominican Square are captured. Biely visits a local well-known restaurant where he learns the specific address of his next stop. Lunik IX, Hrebendova 12. There he meets an old acquaintance. The film was also shot at other locations in the wider center of Košice.
