Cottage Settlement Betliar
The peaceful and quiet environment of the campsite, created by coniferous trees, will be appreciated especially by those looking for undisturbed places to spend the nights on their travels. The Betliar campsite and the Betliar cottage settlement, located near the Betliar chapel, offer an intimate, temporary refuge for tourists who have come to the area to discover the sights of the surrounding area. In the immediate vicinity, in the grounds of the Betliar Manor, there are several refreshment facilities. There are also several grocery shops and restaurants right in the village of Betliar.
Make sure to make more than just a short stop at the Betliar Manor, located right next to the campsite. The magnificent manor house of the Andráši family, which is also the Slovak National Museum, offers guided tours. The building itself is set in a large and well-maintained English park. There you will be surprised by impressive, rare species of trees, an artificial waterfall and buildings belonging to the estate.
Our tip: The mansion of the mighty Andrássy family is as fascinating on the inside as it is on the outside. Find time for a guided tour of the mansion. It is truly impressive, even for children. You will see and learn more than you expect.
