Anima Campsite
The Anima campsite is located on the banks of the Zemplínská Šírava lake and is part of the Anima guesthouse. A reserved parking lot for caravans is in the area, above the beach. The beach is well maintained, the lying areas are grassed, and the shore is stoned. There are basic sanitary facilities just behind the caravan site. The Anima guest house offers a restaurant service. Children will also appreciate the children's playground, which is located next to the hotel terrace, right in the camping area. Finally, we should also mention the above-standard rental services. In the summer months, you may rent pedal boats, paddleboards, canoes, kayaks and, even out of season, road bikes for a fee.
Zemplínska Šírava itself offers plenty of opportunities for sports or social activities. Local buffets, guesthouses, and restaurants organise social events, activities, and discos. From spring to autumn, motorboats may be rented, or sightseeing trips may be booked at several places. There is also local boat, water bike and paddleboard rental, as well as wakeboarding and wake surfing for the adrenaline junkies. In the summer months, you may also explore the surroundings in an unconventional way, by road tourist train.
Our tip: In the Anima guesthouse, you may rent cool pedal boats with a large slide, which will guarantee fun for the whole family.
Tips and points of interest in the area:
In the summer months, children will enjoy a tour on a road tourist train. The whole family will have fun renting a motorboat or a boat, and in case of bad weather or as a spice up of the trip, you may visit the nearby Thermalpark Šírava. If you fancy a bit of hiking, the medieval church in Senderov guarantees nice views. Other hiking tips in the surroundings include: the Chlmecká Skalka rock, Jasenovský Hrad castle, Malé Morské Oko lake, Vinianske Jazero lake, and Viniansky Hrad castle.

Area: There is an area reserved for caravan parking in the grounds of the Anima guest house. It has a slight sloping terrain down to the beach, but it is for shared recreational purposes only and no parking is allowed on it.
